People ask what this costs in their town as though the town sets the price. It does not, but the housing stock does, and housing stock varies enormously across our service area. Here is what actually differs.
The four local factors
- Roof age and pitch. Older housing stock means steeper pitches, dormers and detail work. More time per foot.
- Stories. Newer subdivisions are mostly two-story with long simple rooflines: more footage, easier access.
- Exposure. Waterfront and open ground need higher clip density, which is material and labor.
- Access. Mature landscaping and tight lots slow every setup down.
